Tiffany Green: Presenter Bio

Tiffany Green_Healthcare Policy and ResearchTiffany Green, ACB, ALB joined Toastmasters in May 2010.  She earned both her Competent Communicator and Advanced Leader Bronze designations in 2011, her Advanced Communicator Bronze designation in 2013, and is working to complete her Distinguished Toastmaster award by 2014.  Tiffany is currently a member of the City Stars Toastmasters Club and the Richmond Toastmasters Club, both in Richmond, VA.  In her first competition season in Fall 2011, she placed 2nd in the Division B Humorous Speech contest and 2nd in the District 66 Evaluation Contest.  Her first speech as part of a competition was as a target (pattern) speaker for the District 30 Evaluation Contest in Fall 2010.

Within one month of joining Toastmasters, Tiffany became the Vice President of Public Relations for one of her former clubs as well as the 2010-2011 Area 3 Governor for the Central Division of District 35 Toastmasters.  She also served as a proud mentor for the USCC Club, the 100th club in District 35 and Club Coach for the Steps to Success Toastmasters Club in District 66.

Tiffany has a PhD in economics and is currently an assistant professor in the department of Healthcare Policy and Research in the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.  She also was a fitness and dance instructor for over eight years.  Though these experiences may seem quite different, both of these pursuits, along with Toastmasters, have taught her many important lessons about how to give and receive feedback that she believes apply to just about every situation! In this workshop you will learn why good evaluations are important, what you can do to quickly accelerate your growth as a top-notch evaluator, and Tiffany’s 4-part evaluation method that will allow you to evaluate ANY speaker, from beginner to World Champion!
